I have a Master’s in Linguistics. People think that means I can speak a lot of languages, but it just means I’m a total nerd when it comes to grammar and syntax of the English language.

What’s really helped me hone my copy is having written professionally for over ten years, and getting my first byline in a national paper when I was 14 years old, sparking a lifetime love affair with journalism.

Apart from geeking out over language, I’m a regular INFJ living in sunny Singapore with my husband. When we’re not eating or making plans to eat, we can be found taking walks to work off all the food. I’m also mad about design, and will happily spend hours swooning over gorgeous chairs or scented candles, though my husband can’t see the point. Oh, and I’m also great at hiding purchases in the cupboard.
